Mackinnons Mackenzie’s association with the trade and industry in Pakistan goes back to 1863 when it was a P&O led company. As the oldest shipping agency in Pakistan, Mackinnons has played a pivotal role in developing the maritime industry in the country by offering a range of services to ship owners. Mackinnons Pakistan became a DP World subsidiary after DP World acquired the P&O Group in 2006. DP World is a major operator of marine ports with 49 terminals in operation and a further 9 under development across 31 countries.

Mackinnons, an ISO 9001:2008 company, is well known in Pakistan as a reliable maritime solutions provider with a reputation for reliable services offering integrated services for ship owners from agency functions to ship-crew manning, overseas recruitment and marine surveys.

As a reputed ship agent handling several major shipping lines, the company enjoys an excellent rapport with port authorities in Karachi and Port Qasim including the Terminal Operators.

Mackinnons is one of the founder members of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI). It has also played a key role in establishing Pakistan as a sought after tourist destination through its role as an IATA approved travel agent.

Headquartered in Karachi and housed in Mackinnons Building which is owned by the company and is situated in the heart of the commercial area of Karachi. The company has a branch in Islamabad.
