Job Description

The proposed Quality Inspector shall be competent as a minimum to witness, conduct and review   but not limited to as mentioned below 
a.    Witness and Monitor Make-Ups,Break-Outs and Thread Torques 
b.    Analyze and Interpret Torque Graphs in line with Manufacturer Recommendation 
c.    Witness and Conduct Material Inspections, Dimensional and Visual Inspections, Drifting etc.
d.    Witness Function Test, Hydrostatic Test, Gas Test etc. 
e.    Witness Stack-Up Tests 
f.    Witness Inspections related to Welding, Painting and Coating etc.
Review Documentation such as Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Manufacturing Quality Plan (MQP) , Inspection and Test Procedures and approve Manufacturing Records and Dossiers.
 

Job Resposibilities

1)    Contractor shall provide COMPANY approved Quality Control Inspectors to execute the planned inspection activities reporting to the Drilling & Wells Quality Team on daily basis during the Inspection Execution phase clearly identifying Positive and Negative Observations and in line with latest revision of applicable International API & ISO upstream standards.

2)    Contractor shall be responsible to provide support, awareness, training and assistance to the proposed Candidates (Quality Control Inspectors) on the latest revision of International Oil & Gas Upstream Standards as a minimum shown below but not limited to the following:
a.    Tubular Goods 
b.    Wellhead Equipment 
c.    Drilling Structures & Equipment 
d.    Well Control Equipment 
e.    Completion Equipment 
f.    Cementing Equipment 
g.    Well Services & Well Intervention Equipment  

3)    The proposed Quality Control Inspector Candidates shall as a minimum possess: 

a.    10 years Inspection Experience related to Drilling, Completions and Well Services Interventions Equipment
b.    05 years (included in the above mentioned 10 years) shall be performing QA/QC on behalf of Oil & Gas Operators 
c.    Particular QA/QC experience of working in ERD (Extended Reach Drilling) environment 
d.    TH HILL DS-1 or NS-2 Drill String Inspection Certification 
e.    PCN or ASNT Level II / III – UT , MT , PT 
f.    Extensive and Thorough Knowledge on Tool Manufacturing in line with API Q1 and strong awareness with related to International Standards pertaining to critical process such as welding, coating etc.
g.    Broad understanding of Metallurgy (Materials) 
h.    Work Knowledge of H2S environment 
i.    Practical Knowledge of ATEX / Zone Classifications and related requirements 
j.    Thorough Knowledge on Root Cause Analysis and Failure Investigation Methods 
k.    Strong Knowledge and awareness of Proprietary Thread Connections 
l.    Effective communication through power-point presentation and detailed written reports
