Job Title: Corrosion Specialist Engineer
Location: Kuwait, Kuwait
Qualification:

B.Sc. in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Metallurgical/ Chemical engineering

Department: Marine/Oil & Gas/Off shore
Experience: Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in operation, maintenance and testing of CP systems for underground piping, storage tanks, wells and offshore facilities in the Oil & Gas industry

Job Description

  1. Very good knowledge in the preparation of Coating/Cathodic Protection/Internal Corrosion Specifications / Standards for various environmental conditions
  2. Conducting one-on-one training for undersigned Personnel and Company’s Engineers
  3. Shall have a valid Kuwaiti Driver’s License.

Job Resposibilities

  1. Shall have NACE CP Level 4 (CP Specialist) certification or NACE Protective Coating Specialist (PCS) certification, or NACE CIP 3 certification, or NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist or equivalent
  2. Setting and leading the Corrosion Surveys, Inspection and Test Programs carried out to measure the effectiveness of corrosion mitigations carried out within the Services. Analyzing of data and making of recommendations and plans for improvements of the corrosion mitigations where and when necessary.
  3. Must have experience in test, inspection and commissioning during construction of pipelines, storage tanks and facilities.
  4. Generates and updates corrosion procedures to be implemented in inspection of both in service and new plant.
  5. Very good knowledge in the preparation of Coating/Cathodic Protection/Internal Corrosion Specifications / Standards for various environmental conditions
  6. Conducting one-on-one training for undersigned Personnel and Company’s Engineers
  7. Shall have a valid Kuwaiti Driver’s License.
