1-Seeking a Maintenance Planner to join Southern Area Power Operations Department (SAPOD).
2-SAPOD’s main responsibility is to deliver electrical energy to customers in the safest, most reliable and economical manner through a competent workforce committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.
3-Your primary role will be to plan, estimate and schedule maintenance work in Power Operations Division. You will utilize corporate maintenance computer programs and databases such as SAP to provide information in a timely efficient manner and respond to business queries related to assets maintenance, work order, cost, depreciation and any other associated details.
1-Process work orders.
2-Visit job sites when necessary.
3-Utilize knowledge of craft skills and knowledge of the equipment involved, and places job steps in the proper sequence.
4-Identify all materials, tools, equipment, and special preparations required for each job step.
5-Provide foremen with a completed package at minimum cost. Ensuring that materials are received prior to scheduling the job and that surplus and excess materials are returned to the proper materials handling personnel for eventual return to the Storehouse.
6-Arrange and schedule support service equipment, to coincide with the maintenance order scheduling.
7-Provide maintenance performance monitoring data for your assigned area or unit. Prepare whole job standards and review the log of existing whole job standards for potential application.
8-Schedule coordination meetings and present the weekly schedule of workable maintenance jobs from the backlog. Ensure which jobs will be worked in the upcoming week.
9-Prepare daily schedules from the approved weekly schedule. Coordinate the daily schedules with maintenance foremen, supervisors and operations Foremen and ensure that a complete planning package is attached to the work order.
10-Request crane/trailer and ensure contract readiness or other resources required on the daily scheduled jobs. List, edit and check all issued maintenance tickets and plans/schedules work.
11-Plan major jobs with the assistance of senior planner and develop critical path charts if required.
12-Update maintenance order statuses.
13-Generate plant maintenance reports.
14-Provide maintenance performance monitoring data for your assigned area.
