The Cybersecurity Architect is a strategic member of the Cybersecurity Team who provides cybersecurity oversight for secure business, by developing the policies, framework and capabilities blueprints.
The Cybersecurity Architect will provide high-level support policy and program assistance to the our company Cybersecurity management for Cybersecurity policy, framework, compliance efforts, and strategic initiatives of cybersecurity capabilities.
The Cybersecurity Architect will be assessing the risk of a program area based on likelihood of threat and impact of a Cybersecurity breach to ensure that applications and infrastructure are designed and implemented to the highest security standards. The Cybersecurity Architect must be able to establish and work towards long-range strategic objectives with only consultative direction, use and apply systems architecting skills in the design and development of cybersecurity capabilities.
At least 10 years of experience with exposure to general system administration
Experience and knowledge of IT systems/data security as it relates to the cloud environment
Knowledge of Cybersecurity policies and practices found throughout both the public and private sectors.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and practical cyber security experience.
Ability to provide cyber security technical guidance both within IT and Company’s other groups and effectively communicate project needs and requirements
Responsible for creating standards for all IT assets
Must be experienced with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and UNIX
Must be experienced Network security architecture and its development are both important to understand.
Must be experienced DNS security principles such as routing, authentication, VPN, proxy services, and DDOS mitigation technology are all covered.
Understanding of the ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks are required.
Third-party auditing skills and cloud risk assessment methodologies.
Ability to lead efforts with other support personnel in completing assignments.
Ability to lead in providing documentation and training on software and procedures used in Cybersecurity to other groups as needed.
Experienced in penetration tests, vulnerability testing, including risk analysis, and security assessments, on the complete infrastructure.
Capable of understanding and communicating complex Cybersecurity and policy planning requirements.
Understanding of regulations and best practices for technical deployments in a cloud/datacenter environment and healthcare industry;
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening);
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
