Familiar with Quality Management System, quality control of products, capable in applying statistical quality techniques, familiar with QC testing, welding familiar with nondestructive testing, Knowledge related to API Ql, 5L, 2B, EMS OSHAS, welding, ASME Sec, II, V & IX etc |

Experience: | 5 years or above in relevant working experience, obtained professional title of engineer, experiences in Steel industry are preferable |

Quality Control Engineer is accountable to the Quality Manager of through;
• Regular reporting on the implementation of the quality control
• Completion of assigned job
• Key Performance Targets. Quality Control Engineer have an authority to make decisions and act on any matter regarding conformance & integrity of quality control within area of responsibility
Main responsibility including but not limited to: implement Quality Plan (Inspection and Test Plan) and MPS for every project to be executed and ensure that provisions for ensuring manufacturing goals are established, verified and maintained. To ensure accurate Quality Record are documented daily during production execution and the required documentations are completed in time. To plan and organize the necessary manpower to perform the inspection and testing activities. To monitor the progress of the daily inspection and testing activities and make necessary arrangement to de-bottleneck the area that slows down the progress. To feed back to Production Department any quality issues arises from the pipe inspection and testing activities Issue non-conformance and follow-up. To carry out quality data analysis, monitor and analyze and recommend quality improvement measures. To assess the performance of the QC inspectors and recommend or provide necessary training or advice where technical deficiency is found. To monitor the condition of the inspection and testing equipment and liaise with maintenance department to have preventive maintenance rather than breakdown maintenance. To liaison with client/TPI for final inspection and release of finished product. Completing other temporarily/permanent tasks required by supervisors. |
