NDT technician should be qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards and specifications. The NDT Level II should be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which he is qualified. The NDT Level II should be able to organize and report the results of NDT tests. |

Valid NDT LEVEL II certification in UT as per SNT- TC-1A or equivalent. |
Main responsibility including but not limited to
Individuals shall be Responsible to set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment. Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection. Follow established techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. Apply developed testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results. Prepare report for test results. Perform specialized inspections. Should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT Level I personnel. Completing other temporarily/ permanent tasks required by supervisors.
