Job Description

• Should be a holder of CIA/ACCA/CMA/CIMA/ACA/CPA/ certifications, or a member of IIA or equivalent.

• Commercial B degree with accounting and auditing majors.

• Minimum 5 years’ Internal Audit experience (Big 4 experience would be an added advantage).

• Should have an analytical mindset, strong business acumen and negotiation skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.

• Excellent report writing skills, with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage highly qualified staff, presentation skills, and training skills.

• Should be dedicated, hardworking and committed to meeting deadlines, demonstrates the highest level of integrity and possess sound interpersonal and communication skills.

Be up to date with the latest IFRS standards & Corporate Governance practices & hands-on experience in automated audit software

Job Resposibilities

• Execution on client engagement while ensuring quality delivery as per engagement letter.

• Ensure compliance with risk management strategies, plans and activities, advise on developing Internal Audit strategy and assistance in setting up functions.

• Understand business & industry issues / trends.

• Identify areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes to enable preparation of recommendations.

• Develop strong working relationships with client and build a level of influence with key client contacts.

• Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing business proposals and new solution / methodology development.

• Helping clients deliver their annual audit plan.

• Performing operating effectiveness reviews on internal control testing and Internal Audit functions, including gap analysis.

• Delivering training to Internal Audit teams on a variety of relevant topics, including emerging Internal Audit methodology, regulatory themes and industry issues.
