Job Title: Structural Fitter

Qualification:

1-Primary education, able to read, write and communicate in simple English language.

              2-Ability to read and understand structural drawings and minimum certification / qualification in structural fitting and assembly.
Department: Marine/Oil & Gas/Off shore
Experience: • At least 6 months of relevant working experience in a related industry or shipyard. • Minimum 6 months of hands-on training in structural fitting & assembly.

Job Description

No of Postions: 75+ Duration: Short term Must have ship repair experience.

i. Generic

  1. Basic Knowledge about drawings.
  2. Basic Knowledge of fabrication of structures, Basic knowledge about welding

Job Resposibilities

  1. Understands and follows all required work instructions, procedures and yard safety rules and regulations based on the IMS requirements.
  2.  Performs the fit up according to the drawing given by his immediate superior.
  3. Ensures the quality of fit up according to the yard requirement.
  4. Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned by superiors.
