Job Description
An operational expert and technician for Quality Control (QC), particularly in relation to material & weld integrity, Responsible for assuring that materials, structural components, and systems perform their function in a reliable quality and cost-effective manner by executing nondestructive tests that locate and characterize material conditions and flaws that might otherwise cause failure or undesirable quality variability (Nondestructive Testing NDT). Also, responsible for determining other physical characteristics of defect such as its size, shape, and orientation (Nondestructive Evaluation NDE)
Assist QSA Engineers in ensuring that the job is completed in accordance with the client & class requirements
Ensure that calibrated equipment is used for testing. MSDS of chemical, valid calibration certificates and approved applicable procedure are available during test.
Carry out NDT (Ultrasonic Test, Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement, Magnetic particle Test & Penetrant Test) as per the project requirements.
