Job Description

To install, repair and maintain electrical plant & equipment & tasks assigned in accordance with the relevant instructions and specifications.

1. Apply skills and knowledge and ability to ensure target production throughput rate or objectives are safely executed in line with Section Plan, KPIs, Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions Values and IMS system.

    2. Demonstrate work behaviors consistent with company values and work within company policies, standards, procedures and any legislative requirements.

    3. Adhere to health, safety, security and environmental policies, procedures, instructions and controls for the safety of self and others.

   4. Ensure compliance to quality management procedures and controls to deliver high quality services and products.

   5. Read electrical and technical drawings, work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications.

   6. Perform all electrical & instrumentation works such as motor generators dismantling, overhauling and testing

   7. Renew electric wiring for lighting, electric driven machinery, intercom and rewiring of switchboards.

   8.Troubleshoot ofelectrical problems on machinery (e.g. tower crane, gantry crane, pump set, etc.).

   9. Perform domestic and industrial wiring and installation.

 10. Preventive maintenance on yard plants and machinery.

  11. Cleans main switchboard

  12. Performs work safely and utilizes safety equipment properly.

  13. Understands and follows all yard safety rules and regulations.

  14. Maintains quantum and quality of work set.

  15. Maintains tools and equipment.

  16. Maintains and upkeep housekeeping.

  17. Follows instructions from his superior and carries out his tasks in a safe and productive manner,

  18. Follows all safety procedures and report lapses, if any.

  19. Perform any other assigned duties and responsibilities,

  20. Employee should prioritize wellbeing of themselves and their colleagues while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Adhere to all health & safety protocols, participate in wellbeing &              wellness programs, and rom tl re ort an concerns re^aardin the wellbein of oneself & others in order to foster a culture of best practice
