Job Description

To execute and coordinate daily warehouse incoming and outgoing stock logistics such as unloading, storing, registering tracking etc. This position is a support role for the Warehouse.

1. Receive the materials against the Delivery Notes (DN), Purchase Order and Material test Certificate (MTC) and check as per receiving procedure.
2. Raise discrepancy report for the discrepancies found during receipt/ inspection and forward a copy of discrepancy report to Expeditors.
3. Loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling, shipping and receiving,
4. Maintain a record of discrepancy reports raised,
5. Arrange for inspection of goods wherever applicable.
6. Assists in the physical receipt and issue of materials.
7. Make sure the material issued to the sections is duly inspected, where applicable.
8. Filing & documenting the Goods Received & Issue Note for all accepted materials.
9. Assists in stock taking.
10. Issue out material to sections in line with relevant procedures.
11. Arranging periodical certification of all items/ equipment requiring certification in coordination with relevant authority
12. Coordination with Warehouse Officer for scrap disposal
13. Assists in sending out equipment for calibration.
14. Ensure safe handling of materials and equipment.
15. Storage as per provided preservation recommendation by manufacturer & Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions standards.
16. Maintains general cleanliness of store by taking care of housekeeping duties.
17. Operates forklift and other warehouse equipment.
