Job Description
To supervise and Complete P WI-IT process and assigned tasks in a productive and safe manner according to required safety, quality, and international standards, PWI-IT Technician (Welding Consumable controller) will be responsible for controlling welding consumables. It includes receiving, issuing, and documentation. All assigned jobs shall be completed in accordance to yard safety and quality standard practices within the budgeted time frame and man-hours.
1. Prepare reservation and request for welding consumables and gas orders.
2. Collection of welding consumables received from the warehouse.
3. Assist to prepare monthly KPI update and daily inch DIA update.
4. Responsible for Updating electrode backing and holding record daily basis.
5. Responsible for QUIVER inspection (verification)
6, Maintain the Welding Consumable inventory list, inspect the Welding Consumable with the assistance of authorized inspectors, and update the status into the computer system for future reference.
7. Maintaining and completing all required records.
8. Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to 
ensure a healthy and safe work environment,
9. Employees should prioritize the wellbeing of themselves and their colleagues while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Adhere to all health & safety protocols, participate in wellbeing & wellness programs and promptly report any concerns regarding the wellbeing of oneself & others in order to foster a culture of best practice.
