Job Description

Direct responsibility of Quality Control activities on board and work shop for Pipe installation and Pipe Welding activities, Involve and successfully complete the entire workshop activities like fit up inspection, welding inspection, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), PWI-IT (Post Weld Heat Treatment), pressure testing as per the project requirement.

Key Accountabilities:

           l,        Conduct Quality Control Inspection activities in line with the QMS standards / procedures.

1. Monitor and report any issues and delays to supervisor promptly.
2. Continual in process inspection to have minimal or zero re-work.
3. Closely monitor the fabrication activities to avoid any rework in the fit-up/welding. 5, Assist supervisor to prepare Inspection and test procedures for the assigned projects

6, Accept / Reject / Suggest in case of failures on jobs,

1. Facilitator for department's drive for continual improvement.
2. Request for NDT as per ITP of Project / Vessel
3. Motivate productive and safe performance of workers.
4. Ensure all HSE and Quality aspects are met
