Job Description
Perform all related welding activities on-board and workshop in a safe manner to meet project targets,
Key Accountabilities:
Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Guide the. welders regarding the safe execution of welding jobs with required quality.
- Assist to group leader/ supervisors for proper planning of resources
- Perform welding and grinding jobs according to the required procedures, ensuring safety and quality.
- Maintain housekeeping of the workplace to the required standards.
- Ensure appropriate use of tools and machinery, preventing excessive wear, tear, and breakdowns.
- Prevent wastage of materials and welding consumables, and report any malfunction of tools and machinery to the immediate supervisor.
- Take initiative to pursue self-development through on-the-job training and education.
- Follow day-to-day operations related to your own job to ensure continuity of work.
