1.IT Compliance Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  1. Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement
    • Monitor and assess IT operations, systems, and processes for compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 20000, NDCP, NIA).
    • Support the enforcement of Clients IT governance frameworks across service delivery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.
  2. Policy and Procedure Management
    • Assist in the creation, review, and maintenance of IT policies, standards, SOPs, and guidelines.
    • Ensure documents are aligned with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and Clients evolving operational needs.
    • Maintain a centralized compliance document repository and ensure timely updates.
  3. Audit Coordination and Support
    • Support internal and external IT audits by coordinating evidence collection, stakeholder responses, and audit trail validation.
    • Track audit findings, document remediation plans, and ensure timely closure of gaps or non-conformities.
    • Maintain audit logs and compliance reports for reference and follow-up.
  4. Risk and Control Assessment
    • Participate in risk assessments and control evaluations across applications, infrastructure, and third-party services.
    • Identify compliance risks, recommend mitigations, and support implementation tracking.
    • Perform periodic control checks to validate adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations.
  5. Awareness and Communication
    • Assist in delivering compliance and awareness training programs for IT teams and business users.
    • Ensure updates and compliance alerts are communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with cybersecurity, legal, and data protection teams for alignment on shared obligations.
  6. Regulatory and Industry Alignment
    • Stay current on relevant national and international regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIA, NDCP, GDPR, Qatar Cyber Law).
    • Evaluate the impact of changes in standards or laws on IT operations and recommend compliance strategies.
    • Participate in external forums or compliance working groups, if applicable.

 

  1. Reporting and Documentation
    • Generate compliance dashboards, risk registers, policy compliance status reports, and audit trail summaries.
    • Maintain documentation logs, version history, and record retention per Clients information governance policies.
    • Provide monthly and quarterly reports on compliance posture and ongoing improvement initiatives.
