Job Description

This is a senior industrial worker job, responsible for safely fabricating, installing, maintaining and repairing piping systems and their components to a high quality & auditable standard that is consistent with the companies integrated management systems and policies. As a senior job, a high skill and experience is demanded and is expected to be demonstrably applied to technical problems and mentoring of other employees when required.

Job Resposibilities

Key Accountabilities:

I. Execute welding repair, fabrication, and design. Prepare fabricated metal structures using blueprints and sketches. Weld repair and/or replace a variety of equipment, tools and piping.

  1. Inspect piping systems to insure safety and effectiveness of installations, and check gauges and metering devices for measurement accuracy of pressure and flowage.
  2. Demonstrate work behaviors consistent with company values and work within company policies, standards, procedures and any legislative requirements.
  3. Reduce production variability through minimizing re-work and optimize cost as necessary.
  4. Fulfill all obligations directly related to working safely while adhering to company safety polices & procedures.
  5. Set a personal example of safe behavior.

Verify conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.
